Developed by the Tulsa Talking is Teaching campaign, this is a five-part series on how to successfully run a family engagement event, from set up and curriculum to facilitating a reading group and distributing Talking is Teaching materials.

#1: Intro and Set Up

This is the first video in a five-part series on how to successfully run a family engagement event. In this video, you will learn more about the Talking is Teaching campaign and get advice on recruitment and set up.

#2: Curriculum

In this video, you’ll learn tips on how to present the curriculum in an engaging way.

#3: Reading Group

After you’ve discussed the curriculum for the day, it’s time to release the families into reading groups. Here are a few tips on facilitating the reading time portion of the event.
