The Talking is Teaching campaign employs a range of communications tactics—from social media posts to PSAs—to raise public awareness about the importance of talking, reading, and singing with young children from birth. Oftentimes, media strategies are used alongside our other strategies of People, Places, and Resources, in order to create and reinforce a “surround sound” throughout a community.

Transit Advertisements

Transit – such as time spent waiting for a bus – can present a valuable opportunity to share critical early learning messages with families about the importance of talking, reading, and singing. Adding advertisements to bus shelters and billboards are a great way to create a surround sound and amplify what you are already doing in other spaces across your community!
